Summary
Modifying the anchor layout allows PROFIS Engineering to correctly represent the position and spacing of anchors on the baseplate. Adjusting the layout ensures accurate edge distances, load distribution, and anchor interaction, which directly influence the design resistance and overall performance of the connection.
Prerequisites
Make sure you:
- Are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account
- Have opened the Anchoring to Masonry module
If needed, refer to the article How to access the Anchoring to Masonry module in PROFIS Engineering.
Step-by-step instructions
-
Open the Anchor tab
In your Anchoring to Masonry design workspace, navigate to the Anchor tab on the left-hand side of the screen. -
Go to Layout
Click the arrow to expand the Layout menu, then choose the desired anchor layout from the available options. -
