How to select post-installed rebar in Concrete to Concrete module

Prerequisites

Make sure you are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account and have opened the Concrete to Concrete module. If you need help accessing the module, click here for step‑by‑step instructions.


Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the Product tab
    In your Concrete to Concrete design workspace, navigate to the Product tab on the left-hand side of the screen. 

  2. Select the product
    Under Rebar, select the desired Rebar Family as well as specific Type of fastening element from the dropdown menus.

  3. Choose the rebar grade
    Select the desired Rebar standard from the dropdown list.

  4. Choose the rebar size
    Select the desired rebar Size from the dropdown list.

  5. Input reinforcement strength
    Under Reinforcement strength, select a value from the dropdown menu.
    Alternatively, choose Custom to manually enter the required reinforcement strength.

  6. View product approval
    Click View ESR approval to open the corresponding product approval document.

  7. Additional information
    For Lap Splice connection, enable Epoxy coated or Compression reinforcement confinement if these apply to your design.
    Note: Mortar item number associated with selected product is displayed here.

Note: This part of user selection might change based on connection type.  For Structural Joint connection type, enable Epoxy coated, Excess reinforcement or Compression reinforcement confinement if these apply to your design. While for Shear dowel connection type only Epoxy coated is avaiable for user to input.
