Summary
Saving your design file in PROFIS Engineering ensures that all project inputs, design parameters, and results are stored securely for future editing, review, or reporting. This allows you to continue your design workflow later, share the file with colleagues, or use the saved design as a template for similar projects.
Prerequisites
Make sure you:
- Are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account
- Have opened the Anchoring to Masonry module

Step-by-step instructions

Click the Export icon
In your Anchoring to Masonry design workspace, go to the panel on the right-hand side of the screen and click the Export icon.

Save the PROFIS design file
From the export options, choose PROFIS file to device.
The file will be automatically saved to your downloads folder or your predefined system folder. -
Export additional formats (optional)
If needed, select one of the other available export formats to download your design information in alternative file types (not all options are available for Masonry).
Tip
For repeated use, it is recommended to save a clean version as a template to facilitate the quick initiation of new designs with consistent default settings. To easily locate and reuse files, implement a clear naming convention that includes details such as project name, location, and solution type. Additionally, it is advisable to save the printed report to monitor any changes resulting from future improvements in PROFIS engineering releases when re-importing the design file.
