How to use the 2D Editor in Anchoring to Concrete module

Prerequisites

Make sure you:

• Are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account
• Have opened the Anchoring to Concrete module
• Have enabled the 2D editor

Step-by-step instructions

1. Modify dimensions
   In the 2D view, click directly on any dimension label to edit it. 

   

2. Modify anchor layout
   Open Layout on the left-hand panel.
   Go to Anchor layout. 
   Select from standard layouts or create custom layout.

   Tip: You can adjust your grid settings here.

   

3. Modify baseplate shape
   Open Layout on the left-hand panel.
   Go to Plate shape. 
   Choose a standard baseplate shape or ledger angle.

   

4. Modify anchor and baseplate nodes
   Select Modify coordinates on the left-hand panel.
   Navigate to Anchor nodes or Baseplate nodes to edit or add nodes.
   Choose the coordinate reference point: Baseplate, Profile or Custom.

   

   You can also add or delete nodes and anchors directly in the 2D editor using the Add node, Add anchor, or Delete buttons in the top toolbar.

   

5. Select product
   Click the product selector box in the top right corner of the 2D view to choose the product type, size, embedment depth, and to view product approval data.

   

6. Modify the view
   Pan: Click the Pan model button to drag and reposition the model.

   

   Geometry mode: Toggle between symmetric and asymmetric geometry configurations as needed.

   

Tip

Use Show/hide elements in 2D to control what is displayed. 
For better workspace visibility, use the Zoom in/out, Reset camera, and Collapse menu options.
