Summary
Upon logging into PROFIS Engineering module, the 3D model is displayed centrally within the workspace. The left panel is designated for entering design inputs, the bottom panel facilitates the management of load combinations, and the right panel presents results, notifications, and options for generating design reports, specification texts, as well as basic import/export functionalities.
Prerequisites
Make sure you:
- Are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account
- Have opened the Anchoring to Masonry module

Left-hand panel (design inputs)
Home button
Returns you to PROFIS Engineering home page.
My favorite inputs
Save and access commonly used design inputs.
Base material
Enter information related to brick type, size, layout, grade, on-site testing, joints, plaster, geometry, temperature, installation conditions, and borehole condition.
Anchor plate
Specify Anchor plate type, shape, position, and thickness.
Anchor
Define anchor type, size, embedment depth, and layout. View product approval.
Profiles
Enter profile type, size and eccentricity.
Load/calculation type
Select load type
Bottom panel (Load combinations)
Use this panel to input, edit, and manage load combinations acting on the connection.
Right-hand panel (Results, reports & utilities)
Export
Export your design in a variety of formats.
Specification text
Generate specification text summarising project‑specific design inputs.
Importing existing file
Import existing PROFIS Engineering design files.
Anchor loads
Expand to view loads acting on the anchor.
Anchor design
Expand to view design checks and utilisation results.
Messages
View design tips, watchouts, and system messages.
Top panel (Settings & tools)
Settings
Modify design method, units, and safety factors.
Save as template
Save your current design as a reusable template.
Support
Send feedback or access Hilti support resources.

Profile
View your profile, manage your account, view legal documents, and sign out.
Central panel (3D view)
The 3D model of your design is displayed in this area. You can adjust the view, modify geometry, apply loads, and select products directly within the 3D environment.
Reset camera
Return the model to the default viewing position.
Show/hide elements on 3D
Control what is displayed in 3D view. Show or hide baseplate size, anchor layout, anchor numbering loads, and so on.
Undo
Reverse the previous action.
Redo
Reapply the last undone action.
Zoom to fit
Automatically fit the entire model within the screen.
Product selector
Select product type, size, embedment depth, and view product approval information.
Collapse menu
Collapse or expand the left-hand, right-hand or bottom panel for more workspace visibility.
Zoom
Zoom in or out of the 3D model.
Troubleshooting
In case the bottom panel for loads is not visible, enable show load inputs in the Load / calculation type tab in the left-hand panel.
