Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Access PROFIS Engineering
Go to: https://profisengineering.hilti.com and log in with your Hilti credentials.
-
Explore available design modules on the home page
From the landing page, you can select the design module that fits your application, such as:- Anchoring to Concrete
- Anchoring to Masonry
- Concrete to Concrete
- Facade
- Anchor Channel
- Concrete-over-metal-deck
- Diaphragm design
-
Glass Balustrade
(Availability depends on region.)
-
Start a new design
Click New → Custom design, choose the appropriate fixing type, and configure your design settings such as region, units, and design method.
-
Use the design workspace
Each module provides a guided interface that includes:- A 3D/2D editor for geometry and load definition
- Tabs for base materials, anchors, profiles, installation conditions, reinforcement, and design methods
- A Results & Notifications panel for design checks, warnings, and optimization prompts
-
Export options for reports, templates, and design files
-
Generate your engineering report
Once your design is complete, click Generate report to produce a detailed calculation document, including inputs, checks, and results.Note: To customize your report template go to Profile → My report templates.
Tip
Before starting your first design, set your preferred region, units, and default design methods under Settings → General. This ensures every new project automatically uses your preferred standards and reduces the need for repeated configuration.
