How to activate a PROFIS Engineering premium subscription

Prerequisites

Before activating a subscription, ensure:

  • You are logged in to your Hilti Online account
  • You are the Subscription Administrator (buyer or assigned admin)

    Activation rights are restricted to the subscription admin.

Step‑by‑step instructions

Option 1 — Activate from the email notification (Recommended)

After purchasing PROFIS Engineering Premium, the Subscription Administrator receives an activation email from Hilti.

1. Open the activation email

Look for an email prompting you to activate your subscription.
If you do not see it, check your spam or junk folder.

2. Click “Proceed to Accept the Agreement”

This link opens the subscription acceptance page.

3. Review the subscription agreement

Read the legal terms and conditions associated with the software.

4. Click “Activate Subscription”

Your subscription is now active and you can begin using PROFIS Engineering Premium.

 

Option 2 — Activate through the Hilti Subscription Portal

Use this method if you cannot find your activation email.

1. Log in to your Hilti Online account

Go to https://www.hilti.com and sign in. Make sure you go to your country's Hilti Online page.

2. Open the Subscription Portal

  • Click your profile icon (top banner)
  • Select Your Subscriptions
    This opens the Hilti Subscription Portal.

3. Locate your PROFIS Engineering Premium subscription

Find the subscription entry in the list.

4. Activate the subscription

If the subscription is pending activation, an Activate option will be available.
Click it and follow the on‑screen instructions.

Note: Subscriptions remain available for activation for 90 days after purchase.


How to verify activation

Once activated, the subscription will show:

  • Active status
  • License details
  • Next renewal date
  • Assigned users (if applicable)

All visible in the Hilti Subscription Portal. Only after activation the billing starts.


Tip

If you are not the Subscription Administrator, you will not be able to activate the subscription. Contact your company’s Hilti account admin to request admin rights or ask them to complete the activation for you.
This prevents accidental modifications by unauthorized users.
