Summary
Modifying the baseplate thickness in the masonry module allows PROFIS Engineering to select an appropriate anchor item number. Modifying the baseplate position in PROFIS Engineering allows you to rotate the baseplate to match the required orientation of the connection.
Prerequisites
Make sure you:
- Are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account
- Have opened the Anchoring to Masonry module
- Have selected the Anchor plate shape

Step-by-step instructions

Open the Anchor plate tab
In your Anchoring to Masonry design workspace, navigate to the Anchor plate tab on the left-hand side of the screen. -
Go to Anchor plate position
Use rotation controls to turn the anchor plate left or right. Each click rotates the plate by 90 degrees. -
Go to Baseplate thickness
Here you can type in the thickness value or use the “+ / –” controls to increase or decrease it.
