Summary
You must access the Concrete overlay module before defining materials, modifying geometry, or running design calculations. This article explains how to open the module so that you can begin your design workflow.
Prerequisites
Make sure you have:
- A valid Hilti account
- Access to PROFIS Engineering
- A stable internet connection
Step-by-step instructions

Go to the PROFIS Engineering website
https://profisengineering.hilti.com/ -
Log in to your account
Enter your Hilti credentials to access your workspace. -
Open the Concrete overlay module
Click New in the top-left corner.
From the available options, select Custom design.

Select the fixing type
Choose Concrete overlay from the fixing type options -
Select the application
Choose the desired application and click Save. -
Customise settings (optional)
If needed, adjust:- Rebar calculation method and approvals
- Units and default parameters
- Safety factors
Click Save once finished.

Start a new design
After selecting the fixing type and application, your Concrete overlay design workspace will load automatically.
Alternative access method
On the PROFIS Engineering home page, you can also click the Concrete overlay tile directly under the Applications section in the center panel.
Choose the desired application in the pop-up window on select connection and application.
Click Save.

Module availability depends on your region and permissions. Contact your local Hilti representative if you cannot access the module.
