Summary

Modifying the eccentricity of the attachment profile allows PROFIS Engineering to correctly account for the offset between the applied loads and the anchor group’s centroid. Adjusting eccentricity ensures that the software applies the appropriate actions, resulting in more accurate representation of how the connected profile transfers loads into the anchor plate and anchors.

Prerequisites

Make sure you are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account and have opened the Anchoring to Concrete module. If you need help accessing the module, click here for step‑by‑step instructions.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the Profiles tab
In your Anchoring to Concrete design workspace, navigate to the Profiles tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
  1. Go to Eccentricity
Here you can type in the eccentricity values or use the “+ / –” controls to increase or decrease it. You can input load eccentricity values also without profile enabled.

  2. Modify the attachment angle
When Use profile is enabled, navigate to Angle to adjust the angle of the attachment profile.
