Defining and modifying the concrete geometry ensures that PROFIS Engineering uses the correct member dimensions and edge distances for accurate concrete overlay design and realistic load‑transfer behaviour.
Prerequisites
Make sure you:
- Are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account
- Have opened the Concrete overlay module

Step-by-step instructions

Open the Concrete member tab
In your Concrete overlay design workspace, navigate to the Concrete member tab on the left-hand side of the screen. -
Go to Geometry
Here you can type in the dimensions of the existing and new concrete member. Alternatively, use the “+ / –” controls to increase or decrease the values.
Note: The input field change depending of the selected application.
