Open the Installation conditions tab
In your Concrete to Concrete design workspace, open the Installation conditions tab on the left-hand side of the screen. -
Define Temperature
Navigate to Temperature. Here you can type in the temperature values or use the “+ / –” controls to increase or decrease them.Note:
- Short term temperature represents the highest temperature the concrete may experience for brief periods.
- Long term temperature represents the typical, sustained temperature condition of the concrete over time, such as seasonal averages or consistently heated / cooled environments.
Tip
Define both temperature ranges carefully. These are service temperatures, not the concrete temperature at installation. This ensures your design reflects expected service-life conditions accurately by using corresponding bond strength values for the post-installed rebar in the design.
