Summary
Defining the contact surface condition ensures that PROFIS Engineering correctly applies the interaction behavior between the existing and new concrete members. This setting affects how forces are transferred across the interface and helps produce accurate design results.
Prerequisites
Make sure you:
- Are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account
- Have opened the Concrete to Concrete module

Step-by-step instructions

Open the Installation Conditions tab
In your Concrete to Concrete design workspace, navigate to the Installation conditions tab on the left-hand side of the screen. -
Define Contact surface condition
Under Contact surface condition, select the appropriate option from the dropdown menu to reflect the interface preparation used on your project.
