Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to PROFIS Engineering website
    https://profisengineering.hilti.com/
  2. Log in to your account using your Hilti credentials
    Sign in using your Hilti credentials.
  3. Create a custom design 
    Click New in the top-left corner of the screen.
    From the dropdown list, select Custom design.

  4. Select the design module
    In the pop-up window: 
    • Enter a design name. 
    • Select location where the file will be saved.
    • Choose your region. 
    • Select fixing type (e.g., Concrete to concrete, Facade)

       
  5. Modify default design methods and units (Optional)
    In the same window, you can update:
    • Design method
    • Units
    • Safety factors and default parameters
    • Steel calculation method and parameters
    • Advanced anchor plate calculation settings
      Use arrow on the right, to expand or collapse a section.
      Note: Some options in this menu are available only for specific design modules.
  6. Save your settings
    Click Save to create your new design file and open your workspace.

Tip

Set your preferred region, units, and design methods before starting multiple designs. This ensures consistency across your workflow and reduces the need to adjust settings for each new project.
