Summary
Upon logging into PROFIS Engineering module, the 3D model is displayed centrally within the workspace. The left panel is designated for entering design inputs, the bottom panel facilitates the management of load combinations, and the right panel presents results, notifications, and options for generating design reports, specification texts, as well as basic import/export functionalities.

Make sure you are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account and have opened the Concrete to Concrete module. If you need help accessing the module, click here for step‑by‑step instructions.
Overview of the interface
Left-hand panel (design inputs)
Home button
Returns you to PROFIS Engineering home page.
My favorite inputs
Save and access commonly used design inputs.
Application
Select connection and application type.
Installation conditions
Enter information related to concrete type, grade, geometry, temperature, installation conditions, and contact surface condition.
Existing reinforcement
Specify bar type, diameter, grade, location factor and transverse reinforcement.
New concrete
Enter information related to new concrete geometry, 3D model rotation, shear interface details, and offset distance.
Product
Enter product and longitudinal reinforcement details.
Load/calculation type
Select load type, design method and splice class.
Bottom panel (Load combinations)
Use this panel to input, edit, and manage load combinations acting on the connection.
Right-hand panel (Results, reports & utilities)
Export
Export your design in a variety of formats.
Duplicate
Create duplicate copy of your design file.
Importing existing file
Import existing PROFIS Engineering design files.
Design method
Expand to view design length.
Splice /development / installation length / shear verification
Expand to view splice or installation length in case of Extension / Lap splice connection type (or development length and installation length in case of Structural Joints connection type). If the connection type is Shear doweling, than shear verification will show.
Notifications
View design tips, watchouts and system messages.

Settings
Modify design method, units and safety factors.
Save as template
Save your current design as a reusable template.
Support
Send feedback or access Hilti support resources.

View your profile, manage your account, view legal documents and sign out.
Central panel (3D view)
The 3D model of your design is displayed in this area. You can adjust the view, modify geometry, apply loads, and select products directly within the 3D environment.
Reset camera
Return the model to the default viewing position.
Undo
Reverse the previous action.
Redo
Reapply the last undone action.
Zoom to fit
Automatically fit the entire model within the screen.
3D editor
Switch to 3D editor view.
2D editor
Switch to 2D editor view.
Product selector
Select product type, size, rebar grade and view product approval information.
Collapse menu
Collapse or expand the left-hand, right-hand or bottom panel for more workspace visibility.
Zoom
Zoom in or out of the 3D model.
