Summary
Generating specification text allows PROFIS Engineering to create a formatted, project‑specific summary of fastener selection, materials and installation requirements. This specification text can be added directly to your project documentation to clearly communicate product installation details to contractors, engineers, and reviewers.
Prerequisites
Make sure you:
- Are logged in to your PROFIS Engineering account
- Have opened the Diaphragm Design module

Step-by-step instructions

Click the Save icon
In your Diaphragm Design workspace, go to the panel on the right-hand side of the screen and click the Save icon. -
Select Specification Text
From the available export options, choose Specification Text. -
Copy the Specification Text
In the pop‑up window, click Copy to clipboard to copy the generated specification text.
Tip
Consider including installation aids, tools, and specific execution guidance in your specification text. Clear instructions help ensure proper on‑site installation and alignment with your design intent.
